2009: What a year!

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

We are now into 2010, and thinking back on 2009 it really was one of the best years that I can remember. It was full of amazing experiences which I will never forget from my first skydive to the summer of a lifetime travelling around America and Canada.

I decided to make this video as a summary of the year to remember all those experiences. I now challenge 2010 to better 2009!

Animoto - The End of Slideshows

For years I have created slideshow videos of family events such as birthdays using Ulead Videostudio which was always great and seemed to make some good videos relatively easily. Recently I found out about Animoto and decided to give it a try with photos from a birthday party in December. The results were great and everybody was quite impressed with the video.

It is very easy to use, all you do is upload all the photos and video clips you want to use along with a background track and Animoto will analyse the track then play your photos and videos with transitions to the tempo of the track.

It is a paid for service, but at $25 (it should be $30, but using my referral code qwvalfjy will get $5 off) I find it well worth the money.

I am using it to create some videos to put on the blog so you will get an idea of what it is capable of.

Ultimate Halloween Costume

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

This has to be one of the best Halloween costumes I have ever seen!

Dancing Baby

Friday, October 9th, 2009

I seen this video on my cousin’s blog and couldn’t stop laughing when I first watched it so had to post it myself.

It looks like this boy will be a pretty good dancer when he grows up! I think the funniest bit is at the beginning when he puts his arm out and starts shaking his head. How many times must this kid have watched that video?!

Skydive – Video and Photos

Skydive

It’s been quite a while from I have updated this place, I’ve had a busy few months and there certainly aren’t any signs of it slowing down in the weeks and months to come!

If you have been watching my Twitter feed you will have seen that I was planning a skydive and eventually got to jump last Sunday and received my video and photos this morning.

I was doing this to raise money for Craigavon Urological Research and Education (CURE), a charity which aims to raise funds to support research and education into urological conditions and cancers.

Thanks to all those who very kindly donated and helped raise a total of £1285!

It was a fantastic experience and one I certainly plan on repeating. Read on for more photos and a video.
